This book met my expectations and is a great way to learn equine anatomy.I haven't made it through all the pages yet, if you take your time to try and study this it will take you quite a while.
Our 12 year old daughter completed this atlas as part of herhome schooling. We were pleased with it's design and how effectiveit was in helping her grasp horse anatomy. Every true horse lovercan benefit from this book. Highly recommend.
This book is a great supplement especially because there doesn't seem to be a lot of good horse anatomy diagrams published.
The circulatory, respritory, digestive and other systems are also broken down into detail. This book is a great way to learn the skeletal and muscular system of the horse. This is a must have for anyone who works with horses. The pictures are well defined and colorable. They cover every angle and different muscular layers to make sure you get a full understanding. It is essential to understand these systems in order to recognize when there is something wrong. Goes great with Equine Science, 2nd edition by Sarah Pilliner Zoe Davies.
I love this book. I use it for my online school courses in Equine Science. Who doesn't like coloring for college.
